Roni Lynn Deutch implements paperless client enrollment

Roni Lynn Deutch, a Professional Tax Corporation, in a drive to reduce paper usage, has initiated a paperless client enrollment system. “For the last eighteen years, we’ve been doing our client analyses and enrollments on paper,” says founder Roni Lynn Deutch. “We’ve used paper for all client enrollments and we’ve been transferring this paperwork from one department to another. If you add that up over 18 years of practice, that’s a lot of paper, time, and energy.”

The firm’s client enrollment process went paperless in 2009. “The new paperless system is greener, faster, and easier for every department to find what they need, all without the risk of lost paperwork at every step,” according to Managing Attorney Justin Hein. “While paperless systems in some industries are old news,” Justin Hein continues, “law firms are often slow to change or are lacking in resources to make these types of changes. Our ongoing dedication to technological innovation and advancement continues to serve us well.”

Roni Deutch asked her clients and her employees, and they made it clear they wanted a smoother client enrollment system. “When the economy slows down, that’s the time to look at your internal processes and see where the waste is. A big flashing red light for us was the sheer quantity of paper generated by our client enrollment system,” says Roni Deutch.

Roni Lynn Deutch is best known as the “Tax Lady,” a tax attorney dedicated to saving money for millions of ordinary taxpayers. Her firm specializes in helping clients settle up delinquent tax bills and getting out of debt from the IRS. She has written a bestseller, The Tax Lady’s Guide to Beating the IRS, which contains many practical tips on how to cut your tax bill.
