Al Gore talks about his new book that tackles climate change solutions

Former Vice President Al Gore, and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for climate change awareness, is on the circuit touting his new book, “Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis.”
According to a description of the book, it outlines 30 “lengthy and intensive” summits, where leading experts from around the world have come to discuss and vet plans to solve the climate change “crisis.”
Gore said he believes new technologies like renewable electricity, the supergrid and electric cars will help solve the global warming crisis.
In an interview with Jon Stewart on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Gore said the tools are all there to fix the “climate crisis.”
“The only thing missing is political will,” said Gore. “We really have to make a choice here in this country and around the world to make the changes the scientists say are necessary to safeguard the future of human civilization.”
